BOARD OF EDUCATION MINUTES – September 19, 2007

 

 

1.      Call to Order:

President Stoller called the Princeville Community Unit School District 326 Board of Education special meeting to order on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 7:02 p.m. in the Unit Office.

  1. Public Recognition:   

None

 

 

 

  1. Board Discussion:

Mr. Norm Durflinger gave an informational presentation on consolidation.  After the presentation, board members discussed Princeville School District in relation to consolidation.  The general summary of the discussion was that Princeville School District is a strong school district that has no reason to consider consolidation.  The District should continue to move ahead as it is currently organized.

 

  1. Adjournment:

A motion by Doug Streitmatter, seconded by Laura Ehnle, to adjourn at 9:18 p.m.; 7-ayes, 0-nays.  Motion carried.
