Text Box: PRINCEVILLE PRAISE Julie Losey has been chosen by the Princeville School District Board of Education as the May 2008 recipient of PRINCEVILLE PRAISE. Julie has provided outstanding service to Princeville Grade School students as an instructional aide for the past 12 years. Mrs. Losey works tirelessly in any capacity that she is assigned. She recognizes the needs of our students and is creative in ways to help them become successful. Last school year, after talking to teachers and community members, Mrs. Losey developed an after school volunteer tutoring program. Julie spent countless hours seeking volunteers, matching volunteers to students, and coordinating and supervising this instructional time. Because of her efforts, a permanent Extended School Day program was implemented at Princeville Grade School this school year in which over 30 tutor volunteers are an integral part. The efforts and actions of one exceptional person, July Losey, has made a significant difference in the lives of children. Julie Losey is certainly deserving of PRINCEVILLE PRAISE and our sincere thanks. Julie Losey is presented with the PRINCEVILLE PRAISE award by Princeville Board of Education member Miles Colwell.
