Family
My wife of 38 years, Elaine, and I have two children. John graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Degree in Business. He is employed by State Farm Insurance as a systems analyst. Carrie graduated from Illinois Central College with an Associate Degree in Accounting. She is employed as a supervisor at Afni. They each have two children Alexus, Janaya, Ellie, and Brandon.
Education
I graduated from Princeville High School in 1966. I graduated from Bradley University with a degree in Sociology and Psychology in 1970.
career
My wife and I started Master Craft Cleaners and Isaacson Fabric Care Inc. in 1971. We ran the business for 25 years. We sold our business and I became a Social Studies teacher at Princeville Jr. High. This is my 13th year as a teacher in the Princeville School system. I am currently teaching Social Studies (Civics, Consumer Economics, Current Issues, Psychology, and World Geography) at the high school. This is my 22nd year as a coach. I have coached track and boys basketball at the Jr. High level. I have also coached track, softball, cross country, boys basketball, and girls basketball at the high school level. I am also the Student Council advisor.
