Which printers do what?

4000 is the default black/white printer – prints to the PHS library

3000 is the COLOR printer that prints to the library

209 2300 is a black/white printer that prints to Mrs. Mercer’s room

209 4500 is a COLOR printer that prints to Mrs. Mercer’s room

213 2300 is a NON-WORKING printer – ignore it!

What are the PHS LIBRARY HOURS?

The library is open for classes all day and after-school.

Library staff is available from the beginning of 4^th hour (1 p.m.) until 3:30 or 3:45 p.m., as needed by students.

How Do I check out books before 4^th HOUR?

In a box on the circulation table are PINK book check forms on the circulation table & GREEN information request forms. To check out a book, complete the pink form, leave it on the librarian’s desk & take your book. For info., fill out the green form & leave on the desk. I’ll get back to you A.S.A.P.

How long can I keep things OUT?

Books and CD’s are checked out for 2 wks., but they can be kept longer if you’re still using them. Just ask. However, for bug books – it’s TWO WEEKS ONLY.

Reference books, magazines and comic books must be returned at the end of the school day.

Paperbacks & brochures in the spinning-rack are FREE-TO-TAKE, but you’re welcome to return them for someone else when you’re finished with them.
