EDUCATION:

In the early 1980s I attended Knox College where I majored in art.

Currently I am pursuing an English degree (online) through the University of Illinois.

LIBRARY EXPERIENCE:

My position working in the PHS Library & Media Center was created in the fall of 2006, though

my library experience began in high school, working as a library page for the Winnetka Public

Library. From 1985 – 1998 I was an elected trustee for the Lillie M. Evans Library District.  I served

as board president for 5 years, during which time Princeville area voters approved the expansion of library’s boundaries from just the village limits to the entire school district AND Lillie M.

Evans hired an architect and contractors to begin its major renovation and addition that we

all enjoy today.

PERSONAL:

I was born and raised in Wilmette, IL (just north of Chicago).  I’m married to PHS history teacher

Dan Sullivan; we met when we both attended Knox College.  We have four adult children who all graduated from PHS and one grandchild.  I’m involved in several volunteer activities, including serving at the Princeville Community Food Pantry and helping with the Peoria Cursillo.  My interests include drawing, reading, movies, swimming and traveling, and I’m a big fan of “The Office” and the news.
